A house in Bahía de los Moros, Necochea, entered from the upper level in response to the natural breaks in the terrain. The programme is distributed across four connected modules. This fragmentation reduces the perceived scale of the house and allows each volume to establish its own relationship with the landscape. Verandas face north and south to take advantage of the best views. Enclosed by the surrounding volumes, the north-facing veranda also provides shelter from the coastal winds. Repetition establishes a common rule: the arch, the module of the openings and the sequence of the four volumes give rhythm and unity to the whole.
